San Francisco Medical Society (SFMS), with more than a century of physician activism, is the oldest and only organization that represents the interested and serves the needs of physicians in all modes of practice and specialties in San Francisco. With more than 1,500 members—including practicing physicians, residents, and medical students—SFMS is dedicated to keep the practice and decisions of medicine in the hands of physicians, to unite the local medical community, and to offer support to both physicians and patients.
