San Francisco Medicine

San Francisco Medicine (SFM) is the official publication of the San Francisco Medical Society, a nonprofit organization advocating the interests of physicians and their patients in the improvement of public health. San Francisco Medicine has been published since 1927, and now appears 10 times per year. Each issue of San Francisco Medicine focuses on a specific topic that affects physicians and their practices, from public health to socio-economic issues. See upcoming themes below.

CIRCULATION

3,500 – San Francisco Medicine is received all practicing physician in San Francisco. It also goes to a select group of health care administrators, public officials, local and state media, community health organizations, medical schools and libraries, and hospitals. It is also posted on our website.
